Privacy policy

Last updated October 19, 2026

The short version. We collect as little as we can and treat everything we hold as confidential. The site uses no advertising trackers and no tracking cookies. We never sell or rent your information, and we never use it to target ads.

Who we are

anaphrodisiac.com is run by [Your legal business name] (“we,” “us”), [Your business address]. For privacy questions, email [email protected].

What we collect, and why

When you buy the book. Checkout is handled by [Your checkout provider] and its payment processors. They handle your payment details under their own privacy policies, and we never see your full card number. We receive your name, email address, country, and order details so we can deliver the book, support you, handle refunds, and keep the tax records the law requires.

When you join our email list. We store your email address with our email provider, [Your email provider], so we can send what you asked for, such as the printable plan and launch news, and occasional notes. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

When you email us. We keep your message and address so we can reply and follow up.

When you visit the site. Our host, Vercel, processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don’t use advertising pixels, cross-site trackers, or tracking cookies. If we measure traffic, we use privacy-friendly analytics that don’t set cookies or identify you.

A note on sensitivity

Buying a book about sexual health can say something personal about you, so we treat all customer information as confidential. Only we and the providers named above can see it. Our emails use plain subject lines. Your information is never used for advertising or uploaded to ad platforms.

Legal bases (EEA and UK)

  • Contract: delivering what you bought and supporting it.
  • Consent: our email list. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
  • Legitimate interests: keeping the site secure and preventing fraud.
  • Legal obligation: tax and accounting records.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers named above. They process it on our behalf, and only as far as they need to provide their service. We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We don’t sell personal information. We also don’t “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as California law defines that term.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, they rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we use established providers that encrypt data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold to a minimum.

How long we keep it

  • Order records: as long as tax law requires, typically up to seven years.
  • Email list: until you unsubscribe.
  • Support emails: up to two years after your last message.
  • Server logs: kept briefly by our host for security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within 30 days. We won’t treat you differently for exercising these rights. If you’re in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

This site and the book are for adults 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll let customers and subscribers know by email.
